The Owner
In 2007, Dawn Eskins and her two daughters founded one of the country’s first cupcake bakeries, Carolina Cupcakery. After opening several locations and appearing on Cupcake Wars, Extreme Home Makeover and House Hunters, the urge became strong to return to North Carolina.
In 2021 the opportunity presented itself to purchase Studio 12 on Hatteras Island with the adjoining coffee shop. This was also perfect timing to return to fine art.
With a degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and 30 years working in the graphic design field, Dawn has found her next big adventure, working with creative families.
